| Wow. Has it really been two months? Is it possible to die by drowning in papers? If so, I'm thrashing about in a sea of essays to grade, essays to write, books to read, and speeches to edit!! Someone save me! I miss all of you--Jill, Dawn, Amanda, Micah, and Sandi--and I hope we can correspond our schedules again some day! I feel so guilty for not being the friend I want to be. I wish I were the "get a card in the mail for every occasion" kind of person, but I'm not. I walk around with my head screwed on backwards most of the time, and I feel lucky just to be dressed and functional in the mornings. However, I pray for every one of you every day. Please know that. I miss you all terribly and I love you.
P.S. I chose the "Currently ...." button and then realized that I haven't had time to watch or listen to anything! And the books I'm reading? Do Othello and The Great Gatsby count? Both are for classes I'm taking and classes I'm teaching!! | | |
| Hi all. Sorry I've been MIA lately. School has begun again and I'm up to my earlobes in work already. I was so upset to miss Girls' Day, but my brother has done so much for me, it was only right that I help him move into his new apartment. It took us 8 hours! I was utterly exhausted. But it's done and he's happy now. And so am I because he's been calling a lot more now that he lives right down the street from me. My sister is finally going to college! I guess it took this second pregnancy to slap some sense into her. I'm so proud of her and of my brother. Well, that's about it. Nothing else new to report. Just pray that it's a great school year for me!! I love and miss you all. Peace and Blessings! | | |
| I am utterly stressed out right now. I am looking into taking out another loan for school because these graduate classes are kicking my financial butt! It's really depressing for me because I'd like to think that I could make it on my own steam, but I guess it's not going to work that way for me. Please pray for me on this. | | |
| I'm in the midst of painting furniture and was just praying and thinking of how thankful I am for the family and friends that I have, my job(s), time off, and everything God's given me. I hope you all know how much I love and pray for you! God Bless!
